Gazzi, Jeremy, and I are doing a participatory piece that is going to steer the audience into creating a story. We are going to set up in different locations and have a sign to invite people to add a sentence or illustration to our board. We will be supplying different colored markers to add that creative edge. The story will begin with “Once upon a time…” and then we will leave it to the imagination of our audience.
We will be incorporating digital media into our work by taking documenting photographs and making a slide show. We also may post to facebook to see the response from social media.
The concept is to provide all that is needed for the audience to express to us what is in their minds and how their thought process relates to each other. With giving little direction to our audience, we are hoping to get the pure form of their own imagination and creativity.
